March 12, 2021

Print Version (PDF)

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has unveiled the Beneficiary Travel Self-Service System (BTSSS) and we hear your concerns surrounding BTSSS. The goal is to make it easier and safer for Veterans to file their beneficiary travel claims.

 The new BTSSS gives Veterans:

  • The ability to submit online 24/7, 365 days a year
  • The ability to track the status of your claim
  • The ability to reduce processing time for claims
  • The ability to use self-help tools to make claims submissions fast and easy

A DS Logon (username and password) is required to access the new BTSSS. If you need to acquire a DS Logon please go here.

This is how you login:

  1. Go to https://eauth.va.gov/accessva/

  2. Click on I am a Veteran

       3. Go to Veteran Travel Claim Entry

      4. Click on Sign in with ID.me

     5. Veterans can sign in using their email and password, or they can sign in using their account info from Facebook, Google or LinkedIn, or Veterans can create a new account from this page.
