Direct Scheduling for Oncology at Durham VA Health Care System

The Department of Veterans Affairs has launched Patient Self-Referral Direct Scheduling (PSDS) for Oncology appointments at Durham VA Medical Center. Through this program, eligible Veterans with active cancer no longer need to receive a referral from Primary Care to make an appointment with a cancer specialist. Direct scheduling makes it easier for Veterans to quickly receive the care they need, and for providers to deliver that care in a streamlined and efficient manner.

If you are a Veteran with active cancer located in the Durham, North Carolina area, and you would like to see if you qualify for VA health care benefits and directly schedule an Oncology appointment, please contact 1–833–309–1349.
